Jason Esposito is a 2008 3B/SS/P with a 6'2'', 185 lb. frame from Bethany, CT who attends Amity HS. He has a live, well proportioned build with very good upper body strength and looks like a prototype third baseman. Esposito is a 5-tool/2-way type of prospect who really has no weak area on the field. He's an advanced hitter with a balanced, aggressive swing and a line drive swing plane. His timing works and he has very good flow to and through the ball. The bat speed is there and the power will come and he's right on the ball almost every swing now. Defensively, Esposito has plus arm strength, 91 mph during drills, and moves easily laterally. His hands are plenty soft enough. Esposito also pitches in the upper 80's with a very sharp, big curveball. Esposito is just beginning to get recognition as a top prospect and he should just keep improving. Keep a very close eye on him!

ason Esposito is a 2008 SS/3B/P with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Bethany, CT who attends Amity. Esposito has a nice frame with an athletic build. Defensively, Esposito has very good arm strength with good carry on his throws. He has active feet and moves well around the field. At the plate Jason showed very good tools with a quick bat and wrists. The ball really jumps off his bat and he makes consistent solid contact to all fields. Jason is a good looking prospect that should attract attention from the highest-level college programs.

Esposito has very athletic actions and makes it look easy. At the plate, Esposito starts with a straight stance. He has a good approach in the box and looks to hit line drives. He has present gap to gap power with good bat speed. He has quick hands and throws the barrel to the baseball. He has an advanced approach at the plate and has a very nice swing. Esposito is a high level follow.
