Steven Rice is a 2010 LHP/1B/OF with a 5'6'', 158 lb. frame from Crawfordsville, IN who attends Crawfordsville HS. Young, small, athletic build. Low 3/4's release, sometimes lower, quick arm, good leg drive, FB 79-82 with run, 72 mph slurve breaking ball, can be sharp and deep, good pitch. Works quickly, has an idea. Good hitting fundamentals, nice balanced swing.
