Clay Wallace is a 2010 RHP with a 6'0'', 195 lb. frame from Zionsville, IN who attends Zionsville HS. Solid mature build with good present strength. Simple well balanced delivery, stays over rubber well, compact arm stroke with very good arm speed, hides ball very well. Consistent upper 80's fastball, fairly straight but gets on hitters quickly. CB flashes plus spin and bite, nasty at times, definite out pitch. Good fade on change up. Pitches from far 1B side of rubber, would have better angle moved over some. Repeats delivery very well, pounds the strike zone. Should be a winner at the next level. Signed with Central Arizona JC

Simple turn and throw, drop/drive delivery, accelerates to plate, good hip rotation, has deception in delivery. FB touched 91 mph in Metrodome, good raw arm strength, FB pretty straight when up, heavier with sink when down. SL flashed sharpness when down. Slightly off with command/delivery this outing, have seen much better in the past. Can also hit and with power. High level player, possible 2-way.
