Brett Vanover is a 2010 RHP/OF with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Eureka, MO who attends Eureka HS. Medium slender athletic build. Loose arm with deep arm circle, shows ball, high 3/4's release, loose arm out front. Mid 80's fastball, touched 87 mph, fairly straight. Big breaking CB, proper spin/shape, needs more velocity, possible SL guy in future, throws change too hard. Good athlete, 6.84 runner, good hitting approach, solid LD contact to all fields, should improve with strength. Outstanding student.

Well paced balanced delivery, minimum effort H 3/4's release, full quick arm circle, efficient pitching style. FB topped at 88 mph, occ boring action, hard CB spin, big 11/7 type break, tends to wrap CB in back, flashed change up, kept all pitches down in zone, good command potential. Same simple/efficient approach to hitting, has some bat speed, line drive swing, gets the barrell to the ball, all fields. Outstanding student.
