Jeff Straub is a 6'2" 190 pound 2006 corner infielder from Carmel, Indiana who attends Carmel High School. He has a good body that shows strength in his tall frame. Jeff has a good swing and turns on the ball very well. He has quick hands and big time power to all fields. He really has some strength in his swing and the ball jumps off his bat. Straub has nice actions in the field. He has good footwork and moves well side to side. His arm is strong and accurate with a quick transfer and release. He topped out at 78 mph across the infield during the workout. Jeff is a high level prospect with projectable tools and is a good student as well.
