Jeremy Revers -- Revers is a strong, square shouldered sophomore third baseman from Florida. He has good bounce in his lower body and runs well underway and probably profiles at second base as well as third base physically. Revers bat is more typical of a second baseman, too. He has very good strength in his hands. Revers had a well above average number of hard contacts in batting practice and in games, using a short and compact, contact oriented stroke. He hit the ball to the shortstop or the second baseman 6 times in 3 games, which tells you where his swing is oriented. A lot of those balls are going to become hits as he matures as a hitter. He’s going to be able to work counts, hit and run, etc. with his bat control skills. This is a nice player with plenty of baseball skills. Jeremy is a good student, too.
