2004 Underclass National Showcase
Andrew Henderson -- Henderson is a 6-1, 210 lb. junior right hander from Georgia with strong hips and thighs. He has a compact delivery with a short, repeatable arm action. Henderson’s fastball was 78-80 mph during his 3 inning outing. His best pitch was a 66-69 mph curveball that had good sweeping break and he did a good job of keeping it in the strike zone. Henderson will probably pitch at the next level but he did do a very good job of hitting in the games, getting 3 hits in 5 at bats, including a double. He could play 1B with that power bat at the next level. Andrew is also a very good student.
