Dockry s a 6-1 switch hitting middle infielder from South Dakota. He’s a junior with a nice projectable body that should fill out well. Dockry showed quick feet defensively and soft hands but tended to short arm the ball across the infield, which he can improve on. He’s a 7.18 runner in the 60. Dockry’s approach at the plate is similar from both sides of the plate but he had much better bat speed from the right side and pulled some balls hard. He’s pretty sound fundamentally both ways and will improve left handed with more strength. Dockry also threw an inning of relief, showing a fastball in the 76-79 mph range with some cutting action from an overhand release point. He threw a downer curveball at 68 that was a good pitch for him along with a 65 mph change up. Excellent student.
