John Granahan is a 2007 3B/C/2B with a 5'11'', 170 lb. frame from Hanover, MA who attends Hanover HS. John has a lean athletic build with a lot of room to add strength. At the plate John has easy lift in his swing but tends to hit off his front foot. He needs to work on getting his weight back and getting a lot more leverage in his swing. In the field John has solid range with clean actions, but his arm strength is best suited for second base for the time being. John is a player that could attract the attention of a few smaller colleges.
