Durnovich is a 6-4, 210 lb corner infielder from Virginia with a large athletic frame. He ran the 60 in 7.52 and threw 72 mph across the infield from first base. He has some raw bat speed and power potential but needs some significant adjustments to his hitting approach to take advantage of his natural talent. Durnovich hits from a wide stance with a leg lift trigger and a hand hitch that leaves his hands low and tight to his body when he’s needing to start his swing. He’s unable to get his hands started early enough and get them extended through the ball and consistently jams himself. Durnovich could improve quickly with some adjustments. Durnovich is a very strong student as well.
