Justin Fitch -- Fitch is a 5-8 junior catcher/pitcher from Louisiana. He has good strength in his arms and upper body and quick actions in his lower half. Fitch showed compact actions behind the plate and good arm strength and pop times. Given his overall speed and quickness, Fitch would seem like a natural for other positions, too. At the plate, Fitch hits from a limited load stance and keeps his hands inside the ball with a right field approach. He threw 4 innings and showed good pitchability and competitiveness. His fastball topped out at 80 mph and he pitched in the 76-77 mph range with a low 60’s curveball. He’s a good student as well. He projects to get bigger and stronger..
