Daniel Child is a 2010 RHP with a 6'5'', 230 lb. frame from Rocklin, CA who attends Jesuit HS. Extra large and strong build. Tall delivery, high 3/4's release, big stab in back, arm doesn't catch up on FB, consistently 92-94 mph but often up, good life when down. Slider is big weapon, hard and tight with sharp late break, commands SL much better than FB, downhill angle amplifies SL tilt. Big time arm strength with present out pitch. Good student, verbal to Oregon State.
