2004 Underclass National Showcase
Kyle Migetz -- Migetz is a 5-9 junior middle infielder with good upper body strength. He has good infield actions and good footwork on defense. He’s a much faster runner on the baseball field than his 60 time indicates; we got him at 4.34 and 4.41 down to first base and he has quick actions in the field. Migetz hits from a straight up stance and takes a full hack with some extension in his swing. He generates good bat speed and jumped on pitches he could handle with aggressiveness. Projects to hit with power! Migetz also threw 2 innings and showed very good arm strength, topping out at 84 mph. He profiles well in the infield and we think this young man is going to be a very good college player and it looks like he works hard at the game. Migetz is a good student.
