Palestina is a 5-9 junior infielder from New Jersey with an athletic look and good present strength. His best tools were with a bat in his hand. Palestina generates some bat speed from a simple, balanced approach at the plate and a line drive swing plane. He has the strength to handle wood and show some gap to gap power on occasion and should hit for a high average with metal in his hands. Palestine is a 7.89 runner in the 60 who shows average footwork and quickness in the field. He throws with a catcher’s release point and arm stroke from second base and had 66 mph velocity in infield drills. Palestina is a good student.
