Dillon Bigcrane Jackson is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 5-10 192 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral HS. Shorter compact build, deceptively athletic. Polished southpaw, effortless arm action, extended 3/4's slot, uses lower 1/2 well. Fastball topped at 84 mph, have seen 86-87 frequently in past, very good command of fastball, good sinking action. Big breaking curveball, good depth and feel for CB location, solid second pitch. Still working on change up, tends to slow on release. Very effective pitcher. Left handed hitter, calm open approach, patient hitter, sees the ball, loose tension free swing, ball comes off the barrel hard, tends to drift in at times and become long. Very soft hands at first base, advanced footwork and balance. Versatile prospect who likes to play. Good student.
