Marschal Abdon is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 5'9'', 135 lb. frame from Canton GA, who attends Cherokee HS. He has a small, lean frame and good body life. Abdon has sound pitching mechanics and a short, easy arm action. He did a good job of throwing strikes and was around the plate with all his pitches. He had some running action on a fastball that touched 79 mph. Abdon'd slurve type 68 mph curveball had some 2 plane break to it and was an effective pitch. He threw a knuckleball for a change up. Abdon changed speeds well and worked up and down in the strike zone. Abdon's best tool as an outfielder is his running speed. He ran 7.14 in the 60 and was an aggressive baserunner during the games.
