Andrew Dobek is a 2011 MIF/3B with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Davenport Assumption HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. 7.03 runner, good infield actions, moves well to the ball, smooth compact exchange, can throw from multiple arm angles, throws carry well. Stiff legged stance, still start with hands, shows hand quickness, short quick line drive swing, hits to all fields, handles the barrell well, good late bat speed, will iimprove with better hand rhythm/trigger to start swing. Good all around player with college potential. Good student.
