Ariel Rivera is a 2012 OF/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Jackson, NJ who attends Jackson Liberty HS. Lean athletic build, lots of room to fill out and add strength. Line-drive hitting approach, squares up well, bat stays in the zone for a long time, gets extension out front, solid middle of the field contact, will improve with added strength in swing. Good footwork in the outfield, loose arm, good crow hop. Solid student.
