Josh Childs is a 2011 RHP/1B/SS with a 6'4'', 180 lb. frame from Athens, GA who attends Westminster Christian. Tall, lean athletic build, body projects well on the mound, deceptive delivery, good downhill plane on all pitches, armside run on his fastball, solid feel for his off-speed stuff, fairly tight 12 to 6 curveball, makes hitters put the ball in play, consistent contact at the plate, extension out front, hits to all fields, sound footwork in the field, hands work, clean actions, strong student.
