Matt Vlahovich is a 2005 shortstop/third baseman from Federal Way, Washington with a good build at 6'1", 185 pounds. He hits from a balanced stance with a small stride and slight drift into contact. He swings hard with good bat speed and shows lots of raw power. He centers on the ball well and shows good gap to gap power. Defensively, Vlahovich has a good feel for the middle infield positions. He has quick reactions off the bat and showed good range to both sides. He has a solid glove and he plays the ball out front with soft hands. Matt is a smart player with good skills that project well at the next level.
