Logan Koch is a 2013 C with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends South Mecklenburg HS. Lean athletic build, room to get stronger. Quick athletic actions behind the plate, shifts and blocks well, quick exchange and release, solid arm strength, 1.84 best pop time. Switch hitter, good swing mechanics right side, has some bat speed, hands quick and direct to the ball, hits off hard front side, handles the barrel well. Less bat speed left handed, still squares up consistently, line drive stroke. Good player who plays above his tools, has instincts and plays hard, will improve with additional strength.
