Connor Johnstone is a 2013 RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Roswell HS. Medium athletic build, square shoulders, room to get bigger. Leg raise/back turn delivery, stays balanced and on line well, full deep arm circle in back, over the top arm slot, arm works well. Upper 80's fastball, mostly straight with occasional arm side run, good fastball angle to the plate. Nice off speed ptiches, big breaking downer curveball with consistent spin and shape, change a potential plus pitch with arm speed and occasional hard sinking action. Throws strikes and can pitch and mix, got quick outs. Very good student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest.
