Chase Parten is a 2012 C/3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Arlington Heights HS. Medium build with some present strength. High hand hitting approach, short stride, level swing, shows some bat speed, line drive swing plane, good extension out front, waits back on curveball well, should keep developing as a hitter. Low set up catching, stands up to throw, some arm strength, accurate throws, 2.12 best pop, will need to get up his toes more receiving/throwing. Good student.
