Michael Bridges is a 2006 2B/C/P from First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, GA, with a 5'10'', 155 lb. frame. He has a lean and athletic body with good game quickness. Defensively he has nice hands with very good body control and is very smooth on slow rollers. Bridges has a solid second baseman's arm with good accuracy and a quick release. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a short and compact swing. Bridges has very good bat speed from a no load approach and shows good hand strength. He has a short bat path and makes consistently hard contact. Bridges should hit at the next level, and is a very good student as well.
