Michael Diaz is a 2005 left handed hitting outfielder from Odessa, FL, with very broad and strong shoulders that have seen some weight room work. He has a knee lift trigger, very good bat speed and some loft in his swing. Diaz looks like he’s trying to aggressively pull the ball and was hitting around the ball during games. We think there’s more in his bat than we were able to see during the three days in Fort Myers. Diaz showed good outfield skills and made one very strong throw to the plate from centerfield to nail a runner during one game. The LH bat could end up being special. Michael is a good student.
