Matthew Bass is a 2010 C/OF with a 5'11'', 165 lb. frame from Wylie, TX who attends Wylie HS. Slender athletic build, some strength. Athletic actions, 7.05 runner, sound catching mechanics, clean footwork, playable arm strength. Tall hitting stance, simple quick swing, short to ball, consistent hard contact, shows some pop to RCF, mostly line drives to all fields, ball comes off bat hard, sound hitting approach. Good all around player, well coached, nice athlete for positon. Good student.
