Jordan Gore is a 2013 SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Conway, SC who attends Conway HS. Slender young build, good frame to fill out. 6.92 runner, very good shortstop actions, lots of feel moving through the ball, clean exchange and release, lots of arm strength with plus carry, has the type of defensive tools that stay at shortstop. Switch hitter, looks much more comfortable left handed, flashes raw bat speed from rotational swing, has some lift in his swing, needs better weight shift right handed, additional strength will help at the plate. Also pitched, long arm action with hook in the back, loose high 3/4's slot coming through, good leverage at release. Fastball topped at 88 mph, tends to slow arm on curveball with fair 11/5 shape and depth, projects as a pitcher. Good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
