Michael Taddei is a 6'3", 210 lb. first baseman from Medford, New York. He has some arm strength with 78 mph velocity throws from first base. Michael has average feet around the bag. At the plate, Michael is a left handed hitter with an open stance and never really closes back to generate hip leverage. He has a slight knee lift trigger and could get more help from his lower half hip rotation. Michael shows fair bat speed and fair hand strength. With his open stance and open hips, Michael tends to hit around the ball and tries to pull everything. Michael has the strength to be a solid hitter, and with minor adjustments he could see his full potential. He is a very good student.
