Alex Fish is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Mequon, WI who attends Homestead HS. Tall, lean athletic build, projects physically. High hands over head delivery, stays tall, over the top release with severe downhill angle, stays on line well, arm action is loose and low effort. Primary fastball pitcher, topped out at 80 mph, straight but angle helps create deception. Soft big breaking curveball with downer shape, rare change up. Throws strikes with all pitches and challenges hitters. Should gain velocity as he adds strength. Right handed hitter, very spread stance, long pull swing, shows leverage at contact, loose swing, looked athletic at third base during game action. Exceptional student.
