Although Terry is a young junior with a loose, slender body, we were expecting good things out of him when he threw 81 mph from the outfield during workouts. Unexpectedly, Terry only threw 73-75 mph off the mound despite showing the same loose, free arm he displayed from the field. Terry’s 68 mph curveball was a quality pitch, getting good spin and a big, sweeping break to it. Terry also threw a 69 mph change and showed a strong command of the strike zone with all his pitches. When we figure in Terry’s arm strength from the outfield and the velocity and spin on his curveball, it’s almost impossible that he’s not going to be throwing in at least the low to mid 80’s within a short amount of time. Bank on it. He's a good student as well.
