Fuoco is a 6-0, 175 lb senior third baseman from Florida with a medium athletic build that can carry more strength. He ran 7.32 in the 60 and threw 77 mph in infield drills. He shows good infield actions and his throws had some carry. With his actions and first step quickness it might be good to see him play some second base. Fuoco looked like a very advanced hitter to us. He has very strong hands that generate very good bat speed and he can hit the ball deep in the zone with wood. Fuoco has balance and leverage in his swing, which translated to gap to gap power. He hit the ball hard to all fields, including a big triple to right field and hit the ball consistently hard. Fuoco also ran the bases aggressively with speed that looked significantly better than his 60 time. Fuoco also took a turn on the mound, showing an aggressive approach to pitching and a fastball that reached 78 mph. Overall, Fuoco is a nice looking young prospect with a variety of physical tools and a great approach to the game. He'll be an asset at plenty of good college programs. Fuoco is also a good student.
