Nick Sheketoff is a 2006 middle infielder from Fairfield, Connecticut, with a 5'8", 145 pound frame. Defensively, he had above average actions with soft hands and good footwork, especially around the second base bag. He showed good bat speed with nice hands, and good extension that produced decent power for his size. Sheketoff projects as a second baseman at the next level. He has very good instincts and body control. We think the rest of Nick's game will catch up with his defensive skills as he continues to mature physically. Nick is a strong student.
