Cale Henke is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Hudson, IA who attends Hudson HS. Excellent athletic build, broad shoulders with lots of strength potential. Simple leg raise delivery, good balance and direction, clean high arm circle, high 3/4's to over the top release, tends to drop arm slot from stretch. Fastball to 84 mph, mostly straight, curveball has good spin and late bite, tends to get around it at times for slurve type break, throws strikes with both pitches. Potential 2-way prospect, has right handed bat speed and lift, spread stance with big stride, swings hard, ball jumps off the barrel well, present bat speed, loose extension out front, showed ability to hit to all fields. Arm plays well at third base, moves well laterally for his size, clean exchange and release. Should keep improving in all aspects. Signed with Kirkwood CC.

Cale Henke is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Hudson, IA who attends Hudson HS. Tall slender build, projects to get stronger. Over the top release, tends to fall off on release. Full arm circle on fastball, steady 81-82 mph, steady cutting action, pitches glove side with FB. Cuts off/shortens arm circle on SL, tips badly, short downer break, throws SL for strikes, rare change up. 7.05 runner, nice defensive actions at third base, good hands, fields cleanly, clean exchange, throws carry. Right handed hitter, wide stance, moves thru contact, aggressive swing, generates some bat speed, ball jumps on contact. Has potential as a third baseman as well as as a pitcher.

Cale Henke is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6'3'', 180 lb. frame from Hudson, IA who attends Hudson HS. Nice athletic body for age, lots of room to get stronger. Well paced delivery, occasionally falls off on release, high 3/4's release, tends to throw with palm up in arm circle. Upper 70's fastball, touched 80 mph, has thrown 82 this spring in the spring league, good velo for age. Throws both CB and SL, SL has short break, still working on CB release point. Throws strikes and competes well. Has some bat speed hitting, projects power with more strength, good timing and rhythm, handles the barrell well.
