Corbin Woods is a 2013 3B/C with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Xavier HS. Strong player with good present athleticism. Listed as primary catcher but worked out at 3B. Feet are quick with good lateral movements to each side. Long arm action with accuracy. Showed well defensively at 3B, throws have online carry. Right handed hitter with wide base. Solid approach with bat quickness and showed ability to make contact vs. velocity. Direct path to the ball, fluid stroke with power potential. Swing projects well. Very good student.
