Robert Winston is a 2012 SS/OF with a 5-8 153 lb. frame from Tyrone, GA who attends Sandy Creek HS. Smaller athletic build, some present strength. Versatile player, switch-hitter who can play multiple positions. 7.10 runner, quick release with quick feet, hands could be softened. Range in the outfield, better arm strength, works through the ball well. Solid right handed swing, good load and coil, quick hands, solid line drives, looks inexperienced left handed, more of a spread, slap and run approach, swings down to the ball. Plus aggressive/hustle player, wrecks havoc on the bases, uses quickness to distract the defense, always in the game.
