Matthew Vaccaro is a 2013 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Hillgrove. Lean, wiry frame with very good present strength, excellent athlete, has some projection. Ran a 7.14 60 yard. Pitches from an over the top arm slot, fast arm, works pretty smooth. Fastball sits at 81-84 mph, shows occasional sinking action, has to get the ball down in the zone, throws a lot of strikes, misses a lot of bats. Spins 11-5 curveball, feel for it is still developing, flashes some depth, location of it not quite there yet. Aggressive pitcher with skills to improve and more velocity coming. Also hits, bats from an upright stance, needs to find more balance, aggressive hitter, shows quickness in his hands, line drive swing path. Excellent student.
