2011 NJ Pitcher/Catcher Indoor Showcase
Kyle Stinson is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 5-9 146 lb. frame from Sicklerville, NJ who attends Highland Regional. Still young and with a lot of physical maturity to take place between now and graduation in 2014, Stinson showed promise. His arm projects well and is already quick for his age. He showed good overall athleticism, allowing him to control his pitches well in spite of minor mechanical flaws. At the plate he showed quick hands and projectable bat speed, occasionally gets good use of lower half. Will benefit from improved consistency to swing and pitching mechanics and increased strength. Interesting young prospect.
