Smaller young build, minimal present strength. 6.70 runner, very quick first step, very aggressive on the bases and likes to use his speed. SHows middle infield range defensively, quick feet with good footwork, still working on throwing mechanics and developing arm strength, potential second base future. Right handed hitter, solid swing mechanics, stays short and quick to the ball, good balance froma wide base, high average contact approach, will continue to iimprove with strength. Connor Brady is a 2014 SS/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano Senior. Brady has a smaller frame with a lean athletic build. He's a very good runner at 6.72 in the sixty yard dash and his foot speed transfers over to his infield play. He moves to the ball well with quick transfers and nice hands. He has solid defensive tools to develop. At the plate, Brady starts with a slightly open stance with a wide base and early load. He swings on a line drive plane and get some occasional lift in his swing. He made solid contact with some gap to gap pop. Very good student.
