Quick feet behind the plate, receives well and has soft hands, blocks well. Good arm strength, release is a little inconsistent. Left-handed batter, hits from an upright and open stance, holds his hands high. Shows good pitch recognition, contact type of hitter with a good idea at the plate. Flashes good bat speed, stays short to the baseball and has a pull side approach. Makes consistent, line drive contact, needs to get closed a little better and use the whole field. Good offensive upside. Excellent student.
