Luke Hoyl is a 2013 IF/C with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Parish Episcopal School. Hoyl has a good athletic frame, hits from a wide base, good strength in swing, hands work well getting to ball, solid swing plane, shows pop, good balance, strong top hand, makes consistent contact, can hit, defensively, solid 3B actions, good transfer and release, read hops well, behind the plate, shows arm strength with a pop of 2.01, tools are there to develop behind the plate, also pitched, 3/4 arm slot, short arm action, fastball has good arm side run, good student.
