Drew Kozain is a 2011 RHP/2B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Redondo Beach, CA who attends Redondo Union. Strong athletic build, well-developed. OH arm slot on the mound, short quick arm action, athletic delivery, downhill plane on all pitches, tight 11-5 curveball with good late, makes hitters put the ball in play, nice feel for pitching, will improve with more polished mechanics. Squares the ball up well at the plate, shows good bat speed, line-drive approach, slight adjustments in approach will improve hitting ability. Strong student.
