Elijah Goodman is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Central HS. Nice athletic body, good present strength. Rock back/side step delivery, lots of variables and moving parts, high 3/4's arm slot with medium arm circle, can simplify delivery for more consistency. Fastball steady at 82-84 mph, mostly straight but around the zone. Sweeping curveball with flatter slider shape, tends to slow arm and body on curveball. Right handed hitter, stands off the plate looking to get extended, hand hitch load, long swing with some strength and power potential. Good student.

Elijah Goodman is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-3 260 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Brookfield Central HS. Oversized build, very strong lower half. Multi-part delivery with bounce over his back leg, full deep arm circle, arm works well coming through, high 3/4's to over the top slot, hides ball and has some deception. Fastball to 85 mph, mostly straight, turns over 2-seamer at 81 mph with sink, tends to drop arm slot on curveball, 10/4 sweeping break, rare change up, still learning to mix pitches and spot the ball but headed in right direction. Right handed hitter, lift and pull approach, has some raw bat speed, can stay balanced and on line better. Potential to keep improving. Good student.
