Wilkins is a 6-4 right handed hitting junior first baseman from Tennessee. He has a long, slender build. Wilkins is a good runner underway for his size at 7.23 in the 60 and had good defensive actions at first base. Wilkins hits from a narrow base at the plate with a long stride into the ball. When he stays directional and balanced, Wilkins has a good swing path and uses his leverage well to create power. The key with Wilkins will be getting stronger so he can use those long limbs to create more power. He is an excellent student.
