Malik Collymore is a 2013 SS/2B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Port Credit SS. Muscular build with tightly wound mature strength. Right handed hitter, pull back/leg raise load, good weight shift into contact, timing works, aggressive swing, very quick hands and plus bat speed, very short and direct to the ball, ball jumps hard off the barrel, has extension and lift out front, very impressive hitting tools and approach. 6.76 runner, has quick feet and range on defense, raw arm strength, will need to work on footwork and balance on defense, profiles at second base. Can't understate how impressive bat was, showed pro level hitting tools. Good student, signed with North Carolina State.

Strong athletic build, good body life. 6.78 runner, quick infield actions, moves well, loose arm with quick, compact release, throws carry well, can improve balance and footwork but plenty athletic for middle infield, may fit best at second base. Right handed hitter, low hand start, short quick swing, gets to front side early, line drive contact, ball comes off the barrel well, shows bat speed, hitting tools to keep improving. Raw skilled athlete with very good athletic tools. Good student.
