Marcel Smith is a 2014 3B/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Detroit, MI who attends Detroit Mumford HS. Lean athletic build, lots of room to fill out and add strength. Line-drive hitting approach, smooth swing, goes to all fields, easy swing, will improve with added strength and improved balance in swing. Good feel in the field, soft hands, makes plays, sound footwork.
