Well proportioned athletic build, loose actions, very projectable. 6.89 runner, nice outfield actions, good feel for the ball, sound fundamentals, on line accurate throws, can also play the infield, raw actions but athleticism shows, can improve with repetitions. Right handed hitter, short swing, good hand quickness, has some bat speed, squares it up well, line drive swing, can move through contact better and utilize lower half more. Athleticism and tools are there and projects to keep getting better. Good student.

Kevin Macedo is a 2013 OF/SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from La Verne, CA who attends Damien. A young athletic ballplayer who is beginning to develop into the player he has the potential to become. Macedo has a long athletic frame with room to fill out and uses his long levers well. He showed good balance in his swing and generally showed a good swing path that was direct to the baseball with good extension and featured some loft. As he matures physically his solid present bat speed should increase and he has a chance to develop into a high level hitting prospect. Showed good athletic actions in the Outfield with good footwork, clean arm action and a high motor. Interesting young player. Excellent student.
