Clayton Payne is a 2012 RHP with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from North Fort Myers, FL who attends Riverdale High School. Tall lanky build, room to fill. Pitches from 3/4 arm slot, arm works well, projectable stuff, long arm action. Good downhill plane, solid curveball shape, break varies between 11-5 and 12-6, body projects, should develop at next level. Command wasn't as sharp as it has been in past but still threw well. Good student.
