Bruce Steel is a 2014 SS/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends Cardinal Newman HS. Tall sender build, has some present strength with room for more. Right handed hitter, square spread stance, low hand start, quick hands with very good bat speed at times, hard line drive contact, ball jumps off the barrel well, hits out front and looks to pull the ball, has always been a very good game hitter. 6.98 runner, active feet in the infield, good quickness and charges the ball well, long release and arm action, probable third base future as he fills out, also plays the outfield. Outstanding student, signed with Wake Forest.
