Dominic DiCaprio is a 2015 C/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS. Very strong young build, physically mature for his age. Right handed hitter, very spread stance with limited shift, uses raw strength to generate bat speed, long swing with some lift, hands stay inside the ball, best contact and power to right centerfield, will eventually need to shorten up and hit taller. Outstanding raw arm strength, good footwork with clean exchange and tranfers, solid overall catching actions, strong hands receiving, 1.94 best pop, 7.24 runner, also plays the outfield. Tools to be a defensive standout, offensive development will determine his ceiling. Very good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
