Cole Crawford is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Wilton, IA who attends Wilton. Big frame with strength. Slow tempo delivery. Very raw with mechanics. Will benefit from increased use of lower half in delivery. Throws from 3/4 slot. Short kick, short arm action. Ball comes out of hand well, more to come. Slider is solid #2 pitch with feel and late break. Curveball has bigger, looser break. More to come with body and arm action. Right handed hitter, rotational hitter with long swing and line drive plane. Very good student.

Deceptive delivery, works uphill, lacks extension out front, has effort. 11-5 break on curveball, confident in curve, uses it in any count. Noisy approach, big load, tight swing actions, has strength at contact. Lacks extension to drive through the baseball with authority, pre-swing movement affects timing and reduces consistency of contact. Long clean arm action throwing from 1B, big target for infielders. Very good student.

Cole Crawford is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Wilton, IA who attends Wilton HS. Tall slender build, projects to get stronger. Side step delivery, lands a bit open, gets hips cleared, compact arm action, tight 3/4's release, hides the ball well. Upper 70's fastball, touched 80 mph, nice cutting action at times, big sweeping curveball. Pitches to the outside corner to right handed hitters, works quickly and gets quick outs. Should keep improving. Good student.
